Love for Love's Sake - Chapter 55
Chapter 55
“I’m already walking around the streets showing my face.”
“That’s not the point.”
The vibration from my phone interrupted our conversation.
[Ahn Sia] : Big brother Myeongha♡♡♡
[Ahn Sia] : If you’re reading this please reply♡♡♡♡
Ahn Sia’s urging piled up in a short time. The still-overwhelming heart made its presence felt on the screen.
It was just a picture, and she had helped me a lot. In any case, among very close relationships, it was common to upload selfies on social media.
“Senior!”
Cha Yeowoon shouted, snapping me out of my thoughts.
“Don’t accept it just because Ahn Sia is begging you.”
“Huh?”
“Give me the phone. I’ll reject it.”
As if Cha Yeowoon couldn’t stand my slow reaction that exposed my thoughts, he snatched my phone from me.
He gritted his teeth and trembled as he looked at my phone.
The hearts floating on the screen had undoubtedly caused some trouble. Ahn Sia’s messages, which had infuriated Cha Yeowoon, blinked on the screen when I looked over.
[Ahn Sia] : Big brother wasn’t responding
[Ahn Sia] : I uploaded it…ㅜ
[Ahn Sia] : I’m sorry
[Ahn Sia] : But the picture came out really wellㅋㅋ
[Ahn Sia] : (Picture)
The attached picture was taken not long ago at the reservoir. I was photographed taking a break with my coat hanging below my shoulders due to the heat.
“Delete it.”
Cha Yeowoon growled beside me. Thinking he was talking to me, I realized he was already on a call with Ahn Sia. Swift.
“When did senior say it was okay? You posted it without even waiting for a response.”
Although it wasn’t clear, Ahn Sia seemed to be responding to Cha Yeowoon.
“What’s the big deal? It violates portrait rights. Delete it.”
Cha Yeowoon spat out one word at a time. He was handsome, had a good voice, and pronounced words well. If he hadn’t pursued track and field, he might have made a good announcer.
“Why is that relevant now? What sister? Ahn Sia!”
Cha Yeowoon’s temper slowly erupted. He was handsome even when angry.
Despite him calling Ahn Sia’s name, she seemed to have hung up already. She was too formidable an opponent to handle.
Worried that if he tried to call her again and would just be ignored, I decided to change the topic out of concern for his blood pressure.
“You call Sia sister?”
“No.”
The denial was swift. Strong denials often meant affirmation.
I wasn’t particularly concerned about a single picture. It was embarrassing to see my face on the shopping mall, but it was just one of the many pictures added to the vast internet overflowing with pictures posted by various people.
“It came out well. Right?”
When I pulled up the picture Ahn Sia had sent, Cha Yeowoon gritted his teeth.
“It came out so well that I want to delete Ahn Sia’s account.”
“Do you not use social media?”
“I’m not interested in that.”
“I think you would be popular if you did it.”
After all, wasn’t Cha Yeowoon known as someone who had once become a popular post in a large community under the title ‘best track and field high school student.jpg’ just from a press photo?
It was a face I would like to see more of. Even watching from the side, I frequently admired it. I raised my knees and leaned my head back with new appreciation.
“What does it matter if it’s 1,000 or 10,000? Unless the person I like likes me.”
Cha Yeowoon said while looking at me. The person he liked. The emphasized words hit me like an arrow.
My balance shifted toward him.
I leaned down and kissed him lightly.
The floor of the living room, touched by my hand, felt unusually cool, probably because my body temperature had risen.
There was a subtle scent of freshly washed skin.
Cha Yeowoon showed signs of holding back with his whole body. Without any movement, his Adam’s apple stood out. The blood vessels in his neck stood out as his chest swelled beneath the straight collarbone.
Perhaps because the sunlight coming into the living room had suddenly subsided, his bright pupils had become darker and could be clearly seen. He didn’t move to the point it was unnatural.
“Did I do something bad?”
“…”
“Why is your expression like that?”
“…If I don’t come to my senses, it seems like I’ll attack at senior again.”
“Well, attack at me.”
At the lightly said words, Cha Yeowoon frowned.
“Can I kiss you?”
As Cha Yeowoon spoke, his bright red tongue protruded, intermittently moistening his lips. His gaze pierced my skin. It was clear he wanted more than just a kiss on the lips.
“Do you know how to do it?”
“You can teach me.”
What could I know to teach him?
My previous relationships flashed through my mind.
“I don’t know what you’re thinking, Myeongha.”
“Am I not an important to you? Are we really meant to be lovers?”
“It’s really exhausting.”
“It feels like a one-sided love.”
They were muddy memories. At least, there wasn’t a kiss to end. Since our feelings didn’t coincide properly, there might have been a time when I, impatiently, had tried to take the initiative for skinship.
Rubbing our wet tongue hadn’t given much inspiration. I just remembered wiping my lips, feeling even more uncomfortable than before.
What about Cha Yeowoon?
